DAV is proud to present the first media project of many for The Las Vegas Mob Experience. This is the 30 sec promo that played on the Tropicana marquee with the Las Vegas strip as the viewing audience. With the help of Dog and Pony doing the sound design and audio compliment, our very own Josh Meeter did the bulk of the heavy lifting of animation and editing. We are proud to announce to all our friends about one of the biggest projects we have been involved with to date.

As part of a new Las Vegas attraction with the pull of the Belagio water show, will be the side of the new remodeled Tropicana with a giant 3D facade showing off our new show, The Las Vegas Mob experience. That’s just the first part!

The Las Vegas Mob Experience is a new walk through show experience that dwarfs those of Bodies or Titanic with a fully interactive dynamic presentation. With A list celebrity talent to be announced in August, the audience will be guided through a new hall in the fresh remodeled Tropicana Hotel & Casino. The audience will be submersed in a world of the gangster history with an environment like no other. We are one of many vendors bringing this ambitious vision to reality.

The show will have artifacts collected from the Spilotro, Seigel, Giacana, Lansky estates and many more. We got to sit in Bugsy Seigel’s limousine! A lot more details to come before the show premiere. Stay tuned and make sure you check out LVME.COM!

Real prisoner transfer buses will be used to collect guests and bring them to the exhibit.

Descendants of families passed have all contributed to the amazing artifacts.

DAV was honored to be invited to participate in the Town Hall Meeting held by President Obama here in Vegas. While the President promoted Healthcare Reform and encouraged hope in the down economy, the bleachers of Green Valley High School roared in support.

Working with Local rock star agencies The Glenn Group and Abe Froman Producitons, DAV has created the first spots of new branding campaign for the Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos. The first director’s cut can be seen on our website in the media section as well the remaining spots are up on Vimeo soon!

This marks the first collaborative effort with both agencies and we look forward for more cool projects to come. Make sure to check out the video and stop back soon to see what more has been done!

DAV Productions spent the weekend following up their award winning short film “Flip” by shooting another short film. The team worked diligently to create a New York city loft in DAV’s studio space. They shot the film on the RED One camera, with local actor Robert Scott Howard and Mat Wright who came over from Los Angeles. The films writer and director Brandon Christensen and cinematographer Matt Orchowski again proved why DAV Productions is a force to be reckoned with in the Las Vegas film industry.

Look for more updates on this soon, along with a release of the short film in early 2010.

DAV Productions is getting ready to film another short film in the next month. Without the confines of the “48 Hour Film Project”, we will have the opportunity to really spend time nailing down the script and ensuring that the entire production is top notch. A date for production hasn’t been set yet, but we will be filming on location at DAV Production in our Studio, construction a set to look like we are high up in a New York City loft.

Project Pony is still galloping along, with episode two getting closer and closer to being filmed.

Top secret video project “Project Pony” has been in the works for several months now. Production on the project officially started two weeks ago, and part one of the multipart project has already been completed.

While we can’t yet say what Project Pony is, it is definitely something to look forward to. Look for more Project Pony news soon…

This week DAV Productions had the distinct honor of working with President Obama at Nellis Air Force Base.  The president was in Las Vegas promoting Nellis’ green energy efforts and DAV was on the scene to assist and witness the Commander in Chief’s speech.  Check out our pics below:
